TRQPiTECA presents<\/span> ICUQTS 2018: International Chicago Underground Queer Transcendence Symposium<\/span><\/strong> an interdisciplinary festival celebrating creative cultural engagement with local and international queer communities through exhibition of visual & performance art, music, video & film, panel discussions, workshops, vendors, and community organizations September 29 & 30, 2018.<\/strong> The symposium will center the art and culture of underground, queer, trans, gender non-conforming, people of color, femme, and non-binary artists. In addition to highlighting Chicago-based artists, the work of national and international artists will be featured in order to encourage discussion and engagement within the global queer movement. Organized by TRQPITECA,<\/strong> this festival will perform TRQPITECA\u2019s mission on a larger scale: creating space for artists developing queer aesthetics, celebrating life, and uplifting today\u2019s generation of queer artists influencing contemporary culture. <\/span><\/h4>\n
